I was beyond excited when I heard about Burger Detour opening up in my neighborhood, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The menu may be simple, but the flavors are anything but. From juicy burgers to crispy chicken sandwiches, and even tasty chicken bites and shakes, there's something for everyone. On opening day, the service was quick and the drive-thru was efficient. The interior seating area is cozy, with two lanes for drive-thru and a lovely patio with heaters and a TV for when the weather warms up. Let's talk about the food - it was simply amazing! The chicken sandwich was perfectly crispy and the special sauce was to die for. The "Frix" fry combo with shoestring, crinkle, and waffle fries was a hit, with the waffle fries stealing the show for me. Burger Detour has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorite fast food joints, thanks to their fresh flavors and that addictive special sauce. Can't wait to go back for more!
